Can’t help but feature Gumasa White Sand Beach Resort once again. Boracay is of course the talk of the town when it comes to white sand beaches. But I tell you, if you are from Mindanao, better check out first this beautiful beach in Glan, Sarangani.
Gumasa White Sand Beach Resort is located in Glan, Sarangani Province. It’s about an hour and a half drive from the entrance point to General Santos City. It’s definitely worth the trip. I went there a year ago and I’m hoping to go there again this year. Among the beaches that I’ve been to (not that much yet), I would say this one has the best white sand. “Starch like” is how I describe it.
Don’t expect classy restobars, air-conditioned rooms, and classy stalls along the shore. Despite its beautiful beach, this resort remains to be unseen to many people, especially to business enthusiast. The resort have simple open cottages and a couple of rooms that offers overnight stay for a cheap price.
If you happen to be in Gen. Santos City and you’re looking for that breathtaking sidetrip before heading home, drive to Gumasa White Sand Beach Resort and enjoy its beauty.

This is definitely a place to explore. I am a Filipino but I never really get to visit more on our beaches. I’ve only been to Quezon & Batangas most of the time and Cebu,Bataan,Bohol and Bicol are for grandiose vacation! Super layo din kasi
